Associate Marketing Intern

Brief Description:

We're seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern. As a Marketing Intern, you will be working with the head of Marketing to execute key marketing initiatives with a focus on building digital and in person communities and helping to increase social media following and email subscription rate as Mela prepares to launch the Mela Ai app later in 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns across platforms

Create compelling content (blog posts, emails, social copy) that showcases the value of our AI coach product

Assist in analyzing marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and identify growth opportunities

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm innovative marketing strategies

Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity

Key Qualifications:

Basic understanding of how to use data to make decisions

Basic level experience using and/or managing Social Media platforms - most importantly Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest

Ability to create animation - preferred

Detail oriented with good communication and writing skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Has an eye for design, a creative mindset and willingness to learn

Strong interest in marketing, technology, and personal development

Strong Copywriting skills is an asset

While having all qualifications isn’t essential, it’s imperative that you are a quick learner who works well in ambiguous situations.
