About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Business-Focused Product Intern to work closely with the Head of Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams. You’ll play a critical role in user research, product strategy, and feature development while spending 20% of your time on growth product marketing initiatives to drive user acquisition and engagement. This internship is not paid and ideal for someone who is looking for a college credit and/or hands on experience. This role can be for college credit and last 3-6 months long.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Analysis:
Conduct user interviews, surveys, and market research to understand customer needs.
Use Google and App analytics data to help support the creation of Mela’s roadmapÂ
Feature Prioritization & Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features like milestone tracking, calendar integration, and reflection tools.
Contribute to building next-gen features like personalized goal suggestions, reflection tools, and enhanced progress tracking.
Growth Product Marketing:
Develop strategies to drive user acquisition and engagement, focusing on in-app campaigns and social media.
Analyze marketing campaign data to inform product decisions.
User Story Writing & Product Documentation:
Write clear user stories and maintain product documentation, including release notes and feature specs.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with design, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure successful launches.
Key Qualifications:
Background in marketing, business, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and creativity in driving product growth.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and marketing platforms is a plus.
Interest in technology, personal development, and user-centric design.
