About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Development Analyst to support our financial planning, fundraising efforts, and market expansion strategies. You’ll help with financial modelling, data analysis, and identifying growth opportunities, while also conducting research and preparing materials for VC pitches and partnerships. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the founder and gain hands-on experience in startup fundraising and business strategy.This internship is not paid and ideal for someone who is looking for a college credit and/or hands on experience. This role can be for college credit and last 3-6 months long. Preferably a university senior or recent graduate with a finance, economic and/or accounting degree.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:

Help develop and maintain financial models to project revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics (CAC, LTV, burn rate, runway).
Track and report on financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.

Fundraising Support:

Assist in creating compelling pitch decks for VC presentations.
Research potential investors, accelerators, and grants, compiling a database of opportunities.
Help prepare financial summaries, FAQs, and other materials for investor discussions.

Business Development:

Help in exploring new markets and customer segments to identify opportunities for expansion.
Research and propose modification for current pricing strategies and revenue models.
Support go-to-market strategies for launching new features or expanding user acquisition efforts in partnership with Marketing and product teams
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to provide actionable insights.

Key Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling and data visualization tools is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data.
Excellent communication and writing skills for reports and presentations.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Interest in startups, technology, and personal development.
Bonus: Familiarity with venture capital, pitch deck creation, or startup fundraising.
